Hello to everyone, the 2009 40th Anniversary Reunion has passed. But the memories we have from it will be with us for a long time, I hope. The reunion was a huge success. I believe everyone had a great time, highlighted by the great bus tour of the Memorial mall, the banquet with key note speaker General Watson, what a great speech he had. Other highlights, the surprise appearance of Randy Travis to our hospitality room to say hello and thanks for our service. Randy stayed close to an hour shaking hands, signing autographs, posing for pictures. His staff tried to hurry him up, but he responded " I'm busy here" The final and most unforgettable time was the fire alarm that went off early Sunday morning. We had to evacuate the hotel into the street, many in night clothes, some with a beer, others with a sheepish look. The Fire Department came and did a floor to floor search and determined someone was smoking something in the 9th floor stairway. We stood outside for almost an hour. Afterward folks went back to bed while others went back to the hospitality room and finished up all the beer; we couldn't leave any behind so we drank it. I will be posting new pictures from the reunion very soon, look for them on the 2009 reunion photo page. 2010 Reunion page is up and running, reservations are being accepted. Thank you for attending this years Reunion. See you in Branson MO in 2010. Dave, Events Planner
